This video shows the oscillating of a wine glass by playing sound (driver) at its(wine glass) natural frequency resulting in resonance.

Lisa J. Aedo says:
All matter has a certain frequency or wave form that oscillates (vibrates) at certain intervals (hertz). If one can create the same frequency of the matter, the matter will “react” or respond sympathetically, amplifying the wave. This is what causes the glass to shatter, the bridge to collapse etc. (City of Jericho from the old testament is another example). One mathematician who investigated ways to calculate waveforms was Fourier….
Also, look up cymatics, as another interesting expression of sound waves

Before you crank this vid, make sure this isn’t the resonance frequency of your headphones/speakers haha

For those who want to know what frequency that is, its 748 Hz

PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Is there a specific device that can resonance a frequency to the point of shattering glass? I’m writing a book and need a devise that amplifies sound to the point it shatters glass. Anything other than a speaker. And if it is a speaker, is there another name for it? A cooler sounding name?
PLEASE HELP!!

PLEASE HELP
I need to reproduce this experiment, but I cannot set wine glass into resonance.
First, I measure the natural frequency by rubbing its rim. Then I use a common speaker to emit a sound at that same frequency. BUT THE GLASS DOESNT MOVE!!!
perhaps the intensity of the sound is too little???
if thats the case, HOW HIGH IT SHOULD BE FOR A AVERAGE WINEGLASS???
Help me pls guys ;-;
